About

Hi, I’m Amy. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern and somatic practitioner who integrates counseling, yoga, and meditation to support whole-person healing. My work is grounded in a humanistic and existential approach, supporting clients in exploring meaning, deepening self-understanding, and building a more authentic relationship with themselves and their lives.

In the therapy space, I draw from somatic awareness alongside other therapeutic modalities, helping clients notice how emotions, stress, and lived experiences are held in the body, while also engaging insight, reflection, and dialogue. I believe healing happens through both awareness and embodied experience, in a space that feels safe, collaborative, and paced to each person’s readiness.

My background in movement and mindfulness informs all of my work. I have been teaching yoga since 2009, when I completed my first training under Syl Carson, a direct lineage student of Ganga White, a pioneer of yoga in the United States. In 2019, I earned my E-RYT designation. I have taught thousands of yoga classes and continue to offer practices that support embodiment, balance, and nervous system regulation, including Yin, Vinyasa, and everything in between.

I also offer small group sound baths and guided meditation experiences, which I have been facilitating since 2009. These sessions are designed to support deep rest and nervous system calming through immersive sound and guided awareness practices.

Across all of my work, my intention is to create grounded, compassionate spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move toward greater clarity, ease, and wholeness.

When I’m not in the studio or office, you can find me facilitating women’s circles and meditations, cooking up delicious food, or hiking around with my sweet pup, Obi.
